Terms of Service

1. Acceptance. By creating an account or using JankBots.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make purchases.
2. The service. JankBots is an entertainment product: a collectible robot fighting league in which match outcomes are computed by a deterministic, server-authoritative simulation from seeds committed before play. It is a game of neither chance-based wagering nor skill-based betting: tournament entry is free, and there are no cash prizes, player-funded prize pools, or wagering of any kind.
3. Accounts. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse other users, exploit bugs, or attempt to manipulate competition. One person per account.
4. Digital collectibles. JankBot tokens are digital collectibles on the Immutable zkEVM blockchain. Ownership of a token conveys ownership of that collectible and a license to use its associated art and data within the service — not ownership of JankBots intellectual property. Blockchain transactions are irreversible; you are responsible for your wallet.
5. No investment. JankBots, Credits, Scrap, and all in-game items are for entertainment. They are not investments, securities, or financial instruments; we make no promise of value, appreciation, or liquidity, and you should not purchase anything here with the expectation of profit.
6. Fair play. Automating gameplay, exploiting defects, colluding to manipulate rankings, or interfering with the service is prohibited. Competitive-integrity decisions (including voiding manipulated results) are at our reasonable discretion.
7. Purchases and refunds. Crypto payments settle on-chain and are generally final. Where we issue a refund at our discretion, it is processed to the paying wallet and the corresponding Credits are reversed. Contact info@jankbots.com for purchase issues.
8. Disclaimers.The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Allcontrax LLC's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Changes. We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Virtual Currency Terms

• Credits are a closed-loop premium game currency: they can be purchased or granted, spent only within JankBots, and are nontransferable between users, nonwithdrawable, and never redeemable for cryptocurrency, cash, or any other asset.
• Scrap is earned only, through competition and events. It cannot be purchased, transferred, withdrawn, or converted to Credits.
• Virtual currency balances are license entitlements, not property or money, and carry no monetary value. Balances may be adjusted to correct errors or fraud, with an auditable record.
• All performance-affecting items are earnable through play; paid items never grant exclusive competitive advantage.

Privacy Policy

• What we collect. Account data (email, username, password hash or third-party sign-in identifiers), wallet addresses you connect, gameplay records (bots, matches, purchases, currency history), and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
• How we use it. To operate the league (accounts, fights, purchases, support), to send service emails (verification, password resets, receipts) and — only with your opt-in — tournament notifications such as start announcements and upcoming fights for your bots. You can opt out of non-essential email anytime from your account page or the link in any such email.
• Who we share with. Service providers that run the platform (hosting, Supabase for authentication, Zoho for email delivery, Immutable for blockchain services). We do not sell personal information. Note that blockchain records (wallet addresses, token ownership, transactions) are public by nature.
• Retention and your rights. We keep account data while your account is active and as required for audit and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at info@jankbots.com; note that on-chain data and anonymized match history cannot be erased.
• Children. JankBots is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
