About the league
Every bot unique. Every fight on the record.
JankBots is a spectator-first robot fighting league built around collectible, modular machines. Every JankBot is assembled from salvaged parts rolled against public rarity tables — ten part slots, billions of combinations — and every one of them is simultaneously a unique collectible, a persistent 3D character, a set of combat statistics, and a fighter with a permanent match history. A cheap bot that topples a favorite becomes valuable because of its story, not just its scarcity.
How fights are decided
Fights are computed by a server-authoritative combat engine, not by physics luck or hidden hands. Before a tournament's matches exist, the server commits a seed; every battle's outcome is then fully determined by that seed plus the two bots and their locked loadouts. The same seed always reproduces the exact same fight — replays are bit-identical and auditable — while fresh seeds keep rematches genuinely uncertain. The 3D presentation you watch is a dramatization of a result that was already decided fairly.
Competition stays clean by design: official tournament entry is free, performance items are always earnable through play, item advantages are capped and tested, and Stock League exists for pure, no-items competition.
Collecting and ownership
JankBots are built to live on Immutable zkEVM as ERC-721 tokens, with sign-in and an embedded wallet provided by Immutable Passport — no seed phrases, no gas headaches. A bot's original build (its "birth manifest") is permanently hashed into its metadata and never changes; its career record travels with it, even when it changes owners. Championships are engraved forever.
Credits are a closed-loop game currency: nontransferable, nonwithdrawable, and never redeemable for cryptocurrency or cash. Nothing on JankBots is an investment. See the legal page for the full terms.
